Synopsis

Book & Lyrics by Daniel John Kelley
Music by Nick Moore

In 14th century Europe, being a peasant is terrible. Between cold, hunger, tireless work and the constant and real threat of brutal violence, it's a wonder anyone stays alive at all.

That is, until a young peasant girl named Sarah dares to dream of living a single day that's marginally better than the last, and a foppish troubadour named Manny the Rascal dares to show her how that might be possible. Their quest to make things only slightly better for the people living awful, miserable lives will shake the core of their society, threaten the powerful, and reawaken the most devastating disease mankind has ever known...
