On Diseases, Private Ears and Assorted Paraphernalia

Life remains a whirlwind of activity heading into the holiday season.

Tonight is the first rehearsal for a musical I’ve been working on for sometime. As it stands right now it is titled “PLAGUED or How to Escape Persecution at the Hands of Angry Mob.” It’s a fantastical musical in the age of the bubonic plague about love, suicide and coming of age/becoming a terrifying ghost of vengeance. It’s a comedy! We’ve got the first public presentation of this to friends on Monday, after years of having it sitting in a drawer, so i’m especially looking forward to it.

Also this weekend (Sunday) is the first performance by Private Ear Audio Theatre. We’ll be doing two radio plays- one classic and one written by modern day folk, but in the classic style. I’ll be acting in both plays, and contributed writing to the modern one.

And if that wasn’t enough, The Impending Moustache will be presenting a new show at the PIT, this Friday @ 7PM. It features the Chris and Paul Show, and it should be a bit of fun.

So that’s the news for now- and then onwards into the holiday season. Hurrah!
